We are saddened to say that thePresident of Wombatised, Brendan Akurst, has lost his courageous battle with cancer.
Brendan was a much loved friend and valued member of Wombatised. He always spoke for the animals and could lighten the mood with a much needed joke.
He was also an extremely talented artist, often sharing his passion and career with us. He has created beautiful cartoons for our wildife in support of their conservation and preservation.
We thank the celestial wombat for bringing him into our lives and miss him deeply.
